After a cold, wet week...

waking up to a view like this...

from my front yard,
is not such a bad thing.

Snow on Red Mountain never fails to amaze me.

I'm not sure if it is because it is so rare
or
because it is just that beautiful.

Do you live in Santa Clara?

I used to live in Ivins, right at the base of Red Mountain.

It is beautiful. It makes me even more sorry we aren't going to be visiting for a while.

Sometimes when I am driving home I get this weird feeling that it is all a fake background (you know, like The Truman Show)

I feel the same way about the snow on the mountains in Vegas. Very strange and a nice change actually. It has stopped raining, but it still freezing cold. Enought already bring on the sun.
